Meet Dr. Michael Sigal, MD
Dr. Michael Sigal, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist by the American Medical Association. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 1983 and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Through his intensive training, he developed a strong clinical interest in strabismus in both children and adults as well as a variety of other common pediatric ophthalmology disorders by providing compassionate, state-of-the-art medical and surgical eye care.
A dedicated patient advocate and educator, Dr. Sigal completed his ophthalmology internship and residency training at State University of New York at Buffalo, and his fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
To maintain a high standard of medical and surgical eye care, he is an active member of American Academy of Ophthalmology, Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, Pennsylvania Medical Society, American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Pittsburgh Ophthalmology Society.
Dr. Sigal is affiliated with Allegheny Valley Hospital, UPMC Eye and Ear Hospital and West Penn Allegheny Health System.
